Leandra inspires and enthuse the cohort of first year Pearson students, during their orientation week before they attend classes. Speaking as a university student herself, it was motivating and absolutely relevant. The SRC President, affectionately known as “Tazz” intentionally chose Leandra to speak at the event following her speech at NSQC. As a young person, speaking to students, Leandra identified and connected with the struggles, challenges and joys of being a student as she just began her journey into university too. Peer motivation is still among the most effective motivational streams.
